Dear,
we  have really good news: Our team at Connection e.V. has been strengthened by Artem Klyga. Artem is a lawyer specializing in military law in Russia and has been living in Germany for two years. He will support conscientious objectors and deserters from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, and other countries as part of the #ObjectWarCampaign.

In March 2025, he had already supported around 20 conscientious objectors seeking protection in Armenia, Finland, Spain, France, and Germany. He advocates for their rights with politicians, provides them with legal opinions for their proceedings, and accompanies them throughout the entire visa and asylum process. Thanks to Artem’s valuable expertise, we are able to support conscientious objectors and deserters more effectively and further professionalize our counselling services. His commitment truly makes a difference.

Help us: We still need €40,000 to secure Artem’s position for two years!

Artem’s position is co-funded by the #ObjectWarCampaign and is planned to run for an initial period of two years. Thanks to the first generous pledges we have already raised €20,000 of the €60,000 needed. Be a part of it!

Many thanks for your support.

Best regards
Your team at Connection e.V.

PS: Every donation helps - whether large or small. Your contribution makes Artem’s work possible and sends a clear message of solidarity.
