Israel: Conscientious objector Mattan Helman imprisoned for the second time

(18.12.2017) Conscientious objector Mattan Helman in Israel has been imprisoned for a second time for his refusal to be conscripted. Mattan, 20, from Kibbutz Haogen, is in Military Prison 6, in jail this time for 20 days. To support Mattan with your protest emails, click here.

Israel: Conscientious objectors Noa Gur Golan and Hadas Tal imprisoned again

(21.10.2017) Conscientious objectors Noa Gur Golan and Hadas Tal from Israel were imprisoned again for their refusal to be conscripted. Noa Gur Golan , 19, has already served 87 days in military prison, and was recently sentenced to another 30 days. Hadas Tal, 18, who's spent 50 days behind bars, was sentenced to 10 more days for her refusal to serve in the IDF.

Israel: Refuser Noa Gur Golan imprisoned

(04.08.2017) Conscientious objector Noa Gur Golan from Israel was sentenced to 30 days in military prison for her refusal to serve in the military. She has already spent for 14 days behind bars last month, after refusing to enlist for the first time.

Israeli army jails conscientious objector for fourth time

(25.05.2017) Israeli conscientious objector Atalya Ben-Abba, 19, was on Wednesday sentenced to a fourth stint in jail for refusing to enlist in the IDF. She has already spent 80 days in prison. Ben-Abba, a Jerusalem resident, was jailed after reporting at the military induction center, where she declared her refusal to serve in the army on the grounds that she was not prepared to take part in the occupation and repression of the Palestinian people.
