(16.08.2022) We have updated and redesigned our folder on the campaign for deserters and conscientious objectors from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine for further distribution. In it, we present the work for deserters and conscientious objectors from these countries as of September 2022. In addition, we provide background information on conscientious objection and desertion, as well as conscientious objection and asylum.

Under the title "Deserters and Objectors from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine need our support" we briefly present our work for the deserters and conscientious objectors from these countries. In addition, we provide some background information on conscientious objection and desertion and on conscientious objection and asylum. A print template can be provided.

(02.09.2020) This booklet provides insights and advice about how to respond to cases of persecution and/or threats to the safety and security of human rights defenders. It also speaks to those issues as they apply to other nonviolent activists in Turkey and to people who are not politically organized.

Protective accompaniment from afar means providing protection without being physically present in the country. It looks at what local people can do – particularly activists or friends of the persecuted. And it looks at what international supporters can do to help them.
