Interview Series Part l

(15.05.2024) On the International Day of Conscientious Objection, we’re starting to share the testimonies of the conscientious objectors from Turkey. In the first of the interview series, you’ll hear the testimonies of conscientious objector Kenan Kahya. Kenan Kahya, who declared his conscientious objection in 2017, faces many restrictions and violations, from the violation of his right to work to the restriction of his freedom of travel, because he refuses compulsory military service.

Deserters and objectors from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine need our support

(01.09.2023) We have updated and redesigned our folder on the campaign for deserters and conscientious objectors from Russia, Belarus and Ukraine for further distribution. In it, we present the work for deserters and conscientious objectors from these countries as of September 2023. In addition, we provide background information on conscientious objection and desertion, as well as conscientious objection and asylum. Some pictures are added and logos of some of the organisations supporting the #ObjectWarCampaign. (8 pages)
